New Society Partnerships
Portuguese Association of Forensic Sciences
Current Forensic Science – one of the latest Bentham Science journals – has partnered with the Portuguese Association of Forensic Sciences (APCF). The partnership will be synergistic, as the President of the society – Dr. Ricardo Jorge Dinis Oliveira – also serves as the Editor-in-Chief of the journal.
Established in January 2015, the Portuguese Association of Forensic Sciences (APCF) stands as Portugal's premier scientific society in the field. Welcoming national and international professionals, students, and scientists, APCF dedicates itself to advancing forensic and criminal sciences. Its objectives encompass promoting research, supporting graduates, masters, and doctorates, and underlining the significance of forensic sciences globally. APCF represents its members professionally and provides expert opinion on forensic science. The organization also collaborates with other institutions by sponsoring scientific projects and congresses to foster knowledge dissemination. APCF’s active engagement in societal and governmental dialogue advocates for the recognition of exceptional research in the field.
